Selvam Selvam and his friend Bhaskar Bhaskar are petty thieves who live by taking things from people. One day, they are hired to steal a Ganesh idol from a temple for a man who has just moved into a new house, claiming it will invite prosperity. They succeed, but they are spotted and chased by the crowd. They dive into a house and meet Radha, a maid who looks after the owners’ three children while the adults are away on a pilgrimage. Radha and the two men are locked in a room and forced to do chores for three days, and during that time she sees that they’re not as bad as their rep might suggest.
