Touching the Void 2004
In 1985, mountaineers Joe Simpson and Simon Yates attempt to climb the formidable Siula Grande in Peru. During their descent, a fall leaves Simpson with severe injuries, presenting Yates with a harrowing decision. Faced with the prospect of his own demise, Yates must confront a difficult choice: continue the descent and risk his own life, or cut the rope tethering him to his injured partner. The ordeal tests the limits of survival and the bonds of friendship against the backdrop of the dangerous mountain.
