Master hairdresser Karl Holzer leads a peaceful life with his wife Elsa and granddaughter Nora in a quiet German town. His world is disrupted when his son Thomas, Nora’s father, becomes a suspect in serious crimes linked to right-wing extremism. Simultaneously, fifteen-year-old Anyá faces deportation with her family after seventeen years. Anyá escapes and, while searching for her parents, crosses paths with Karl, leading to unsettling revelations and challenging Karl’s sense of family and responsibility.
