The premise of Tomb of the Pistolero without spoilers.
Tom Bogard rides from Boston to the remote western mining town of Carson. Upon arriving he informs the locals that he is the brother of Jack Bogard, who was murdered a few weeks earlier, and is immediately rebuffed. Undeterred, Tom stays to investigate, seeking anyone who can shed light on his brother’s death.
