What Is There’s No Religion Anymore About?
The premise of There’s No Religion Anymore without spoilers.
On the small island of Porto Buio, the annual live Christmas Nativity scene faces an unexpected crisis: the traditional baby Jesus has outgrown the role, and no new babies have been born on the island. Newly elected Mayor Cecco seeks help from the local Tunisian community, proposing to "borrow" a child for the role. This sparks conflict between the communities, and Cecco turns to Bilal, a local Muslim convert, to bridge the cultural divide. However, questions arise about the baby’s identity and religion, challenging the island’s cherished tradition.
