What Is The Plunderers About?
The premise of The Plunderers without spoilers.
The film opens with a shocking display – Rod Cameron’s hero shoots Sheriff Sam Borden at point‑blank range before a crowd of witnesses. The murder is staged, however, as a ploy to let army agent Johnny Drum go undercover among a gang of highway robbers. Presented in Republic Pictures’ vivid Trucolor process, the story follows Drum’s covert infiltration and the ensuing showdown.
