Mario Millio, the only male nurse who didn’t join the strike at his hospital, endures a domestic life where his wife spends more time calling a TV doctor’s advice hotline. After winning 15 million lire in the lottery, Mario splurges on a new car and begins secretly pursuing his long‑held fantasies. His newfound freedom shatters when the vehicle is stolen, and the police mistakenly implicate him in the thief’s criminal activities.
