What Is The Lighthouse About?
The premise of The Lighthouse without spoilers.
After their mother dies in a car crash, Argentine sisters Memé and Aneta become orphans—Memé also crippled by a scarred leg—and move to Uruguay to live with their aunts. They bicker but remain close. Memé works as a waitress, meets Andy, and later encounters Dolores, a friend of their mother. Andy’s invitation to his seaside lighthouse tests their strained bond and forces them to confront their grief.
