Set between 1937 and 1947, this 2001 television drama follows the fortunes and personal dramas of the affluent Cazalet family, split between their grand Sussex estate and London society. Adapted by Douglas Livingstone from Elizabeth Jane Howard’s novels, the series was produced by Cinema Verity for BBC One and is available on DVD.
