What Is The Architects About?
The premise of The Architects without spoilers.
Architect Daniel Brenner, in his late thirties, receives his first major commission: a cultural centre for a satellite town in East Berlin. He insists on choosing his collaborators, reuniting with former classmates now in other professions. Together they craft a bold, public‑friendly design that challenges the dull GDR aesthetic, but conservative supervisors block it. Meanwhile, Daniel’s marriage is strained as his wife Wanda considers moving to West Germany.
