After relocating from New York to California to launch a new business, Kelly Halligan and her niece find themselves drawn into the world of high school soccer. There, they meet Dominic, a handsome coach who quickly becomes the focus of unwanted attention. Maddie, an attractive but troubled student on the team, develops an obsession with Dominic and resorts to sabotage when he rejects her advances, threatening his relationship with Kelly and disrupting the lives of everyone involved.
