The Wild World of Batwoman 1966

Batwoman Katherine Victor leads a team of young female operatives—Batgirls—in her ongoing pursuit of justice. The city is a place where courage meets gadgetry, and their mission is clear: safeguard the innocent and shut down schemes that blend crime with science fiction. The arch-nemesis they face is a masked villain named Rat Fink Richard Banks, a figure whose schemes threaten to tilt the balance of power. In the background, the President and Vice President of the Ayjax Development Corporation watch closely, their corporate ambitions shaping every move in this dangerous game.

At the center of the plot is a stunning piece of technology: the Atomic Hearing Aid, a listening device with limitless eavesdropping potential. Ayjax develops it, driven by a vision of power and influence. The company makes an early bid to sell the device to the U.S. Government, but officials decline because the device’s unstable power source renders it unreliable. Rather than destroy it, the President of Ayjax refuses to part with the invention, and Rat Fink presses the corporation to turn over the device to him.

To protect the device, the Vice President of Ayjax enlists Batwoman’s help; but Rat Fink’s minions strike first. In a dramatic move, they use drugged bowls of soup to incapacitate Batwoman and the Batgirls, slipping away with the prize and vanishing into the shadows.

Bolstered by resolve, the heroes launch a daring assault on Rat Fink’s lair. They recover the device and, in a climactic reveal, unmask Rat Fink, exposing the mastermind behind the scheme. A surprising turn of loyalty comes when Tiger [Mel Oshins]—one of Rat Fink’s minions—switches sides after falling in love with one of the Batgirls, tipping the balance toward justice.
