What Is The Ugliest Woman in the World About?
The premise of The Ugliest Woman in the World without spoilers.
A twisted New Year’s Eve 2011 murder— a nun‑disguised killer dismembers an elderly woman— draws the solitary, one‑eyed Detective Lt. Arribas into the case. His investigation leads to renegade Dr. Werner, who tells the legend of “The Beautiful Otero,” once the world’s ugliest woman before a miraculous transformation. Arribas becomes entangled with his prime suspect, a scarred woman seeking vengeance by sabotaging the Miss Spain pageant, leaving a trail of dead beauty queens. The film blends sci‑fi thriller elements with a dark, bizarre climax.
