What Is The Third Memory About?
The premise of The Third Memory without spoilers.
Using time, memory and everyday texture, Pierre Huyghe blurs the line between art and life across billboards, TV, festivals and museums. His two‑channel video The Third Memory (2000) revisits the 1972 Brooklyn bank robbery dramatized in Dog Day Afternoon, giving the real robber, John Wojtowicz, a reconstructed set to recount his own version of the heist.
