Ben and Katie Jordan, married for 15 years, share a life that appears picture-perfect, complete with two children, Erin and Josh, a lovely home, and a comfortable lifestyle. However, beneath this facade lies a disintegrating relationship, marked by an overwhelming dissatisfaction that they conceal from their children, leading to a daily performance of normalcy.
Their love story began in the realm of comedy, where they first crossed paths. Reflecting on their journey, Katie recalls the intensity of their arguments, eventually noting how they shifted from heated disputes to a silence that spoke volumes. As summer approaches, they decide to send their kids off to camp and take a trial separation, which prompts both of them to explore what originally drew them together.
