What Is The Sky Above Zenica About?
The premise of The Sky Above Zenica without spoilers.
Zenica is a city struggling with severe air pollution caused by a massive steel factory. Samir Lemes and activists from Eko Forum confront a powerful corporation and local politicians prioritizing jobs and re-elections. The European Union also faces scrutiny for co-funding the factory without enforcing environmental standards. Despite the hazardous conditions, the city is misleadingly branded as a "Green City Project," highlighting financial cynicism and greenwashing with significant involvement from West European countries.
