The Shed 2019

Bane Frank Whaley is introduced in a shadowy forest, where a relentless chase unfolds as a vampire closes in. After a bite is dealt, he races toward a quiet rural property and slips inside an old wooden shed just as the sun begins to rise. The daylight sears his skin, forcing him to hunker down and remain unseen, even as the world wakes outside.

The narrative then shifts to Stan Jay Jay Warren, a troubled high school student living with an abusive grandfather in the wake of his parents’ death. He endures brutal bullying at school, largely from Marble, a vicious classmate who seems to revel in torment. Stan finds a fragile beacon of hope in Dommer Cody Kostro, another stubborn outcast who also slips under the radar of most peers. Stan’s heart also holds a quieter ache for Roxy Sofia Happonen, a girl he once knew well but who now tries to steer clear of trouble and conflict.

One fateful day, while tending to yard work, Stan discovers the pale, withdrawn figure in the shed—initially believing him to be some ordinary vagrant. That illusion shatters when he witnesses something monstrous: the vampire drags Stan’s dog into the shed and tears it apart, revealing a danger far beyond anything he imagined. When Stan’s grandfather comes to inspect, Bane erupts in a brutal attack, killing him in seconds. Stan manages to trap the creature inside the shed, but the encounter leaves him rattled and unsure of what comes next.

As Stan wrestles with the dilemma of containment, Dommer learns of the threat and conjures a tempting—but dangerous—idea: use the vampire to punish their bullies. Stan refuses to weaponize the creature, but Dommer’s own pain and fury push him toward a darker path. He lures Marble into the shed, hoping the plan will escalate into revenge; instead, the vampire strikes and Marble is killed.

The situation spirals further when Dommer himself is wounded and bitten, turning into a vampire. The two newly formed immortals—Bane and Dommer—form an uneasy alliance, their shared thirst sharpening the danger for Stan and Roxy, who find themselves suddenly cornered and fighting for survival.

The danger closes in when Marble’s gang has two surviving members show up at Stan’s home, seeking Marble’s whereabouts. They, too, fall under the blood-soaked influence of Bane and are transformed, turning friends into threats. In a brutal, high-stakes confrontation, Stan and Roxy fight back and manage to kill Bane and the two additional vampires. They haul the corpses into the shed and set the structure ablaze, hoping to erase the threat once and for all.

Dawn breaks to a tense quiet, with Stan and Roxy waking inside a car, only to discover the trunk left unlatched. Something within stirs, hinting that the nightmare may not be entirely finished—an ominous reminder that the danger could still be lurking just out of sight, waiting for the moment to rise again. Stan Jay Jay Warren and Roxy Sofia Happonen hold each other as the car’s glow fades, pondering what comes next in a world where the line between friend and foe is dangerously thin.
