What Is The Road to Shame About?
The premise of The Road to Shame without spoilers.
Pierre Rossi and Béatrice, a couple living in the same Marseille block, are thrust into danger when Béatrice vanishes after a secret rendez‑vous. Pierre follows her, is attacked, and his identity papers are taken by Tom and Nasol, hired by crime boss Quaglio. Quaglio kills Nasol, leaves the papers near the body, and Pierre later finds Tom at a villa that serves as a white‑slave trafficking hub.
