
Parisian‑in‑her‑eyes Nicole is out of work, behind on rent and desperate to secure a wealthy husband. With her friend Gloria and a hotel maître d’, she schemes to catch the attention of millionaire Bill Duncan, a guest at an upscale New York hotel. Their plan succeeds and Bill and Gloria become engaged, but Bill’s friend Jim Trevor, who has met Nicole before, sees through the ruse and threatens to expose her.
