The premise of The Outlaws of Sevenhorses without spoilers.
Set in Muntenia during the Phanariote era, the third Haiducii film follows Lady Ralu, who seeks a million galbeni to buy Viennese jewelry. To fund her, the Phanariot ruler taxes cowherds with the “birul vacăritului,” crippling the peasantry. Anghel Șaptecai raids the loot to restore galbeni, but Captain Mamulos captures him and condemns him to pit.
