The other city 2022

In 2007, photography student Livi moves into a vacant building in downtown Haifa. Shortly before she plans to leave, Shahar, Zvi, Iddo, and Talia arrive – also young artists. A fast friendship develops, and when Zvi faces financial difficulties, they decide to share a space, creating a dwelling for him and a combined art gallery and bar. Their collaborative venture flourishes, gaining recognition, but challenges arise. Over the following twelve years, Livi observes their individual journeys as they pursue their artistic dreams while confronting hardships like financial struggles, mental health issues, and alcoholism, offering an intimate portrayal of friendship and personal growth.
