Zachary Stone [Brandon Routh] is a dedicated firefighter who also renovates houses on the side, but he keeps every place at arm’s length and avoids calling any one space home. He’s dating Blair [Chelsea Hobbs], a model who shares his reluctance to settle down, including the idea of pets tying them down. When he rescues a cat from a dog, the cat obligingly chooses to stay with him, slowly turning into a welcome companion as Zachary’s guarded routine begins to soften.
