In the summer of 1931, as Germany teeters on economic collapse and Berlin becomes a paramilitary battlefield, daring young prosecutor Hans Litten summons Adolf Hitler as a witness in a trial of Nazi thugs. Defying personal danger, Litten subjects Hitler to a harsh cross‑examination, exposing his contempt for law, violent ambitions and hypocrisy, briefly jeopardizing the Nazi Party’s electoral rise.
