The Lost Tribe 2009

Five friends Anna, Tom, Joe, Alexis, and Chris are on their way to Asia to close a business deal when they rescue a man adrift at sea. The injured stranger seizes the yacht’s autopilot and tries to change course, but the move backfires: the vessel slams into a rock and sinks. The castaways wash ashore on the beach of an uncharted island and scramble to contact the Coast Guard using the yacht’s radio, hoping for a rescue that may never come.

As the survivors grapple with these losses, Joe and Anna uncover a nefarious plot—a Vatican-led effort to cover up the discoveries of a research team on the island. The revelation is brutal and personal, and Joe is murdered by an assassin sent by the Catholic Church, a blow that leaves Anna to face the island alone.

With dwindling allies and mounting danger, Anna must navigate the island’s secrets and the relentless threats closing in around her. The pursuit culminates in a dramatic confrontation where the assassin is killed by a creature, sealing a fateful turn in the mystery that binds their survival to the island’s darkest enigmas.
