The premise of The Lady Who Died in the Trailer without spoilers.
Born Georgina in Bahia, she reinvented herself countless times, becoming Diva Rios in São Paulo, Suzy King in Rio de Janeiro, and finally Jacuí Japurá near the U.S.-Mexico border. This fascinating woman led a life filled with diverse artistic pursuits – singing, songwriting, acting, dancing, and even snake charming. Found dead in a trailer in California in 1985, her story remained incomplete, a trail of mystery and fragmented memories. Three decades later, historians and performers collaborate to reconstruct the puzzle of her extraordinary and troubled existence, seeking to understand the many identities she embraced.
