The Gilligan Manifesto (2018): Cast

During the Cold War, the popular television series Gilligan’s Island surprisingly presented a post-apocalyptic scenario where survivors rebuild civilization, creating a communist society. Through interviews with the show’s creator, actors, and Harvard professors, the documentary explores the deliberate intention to disguise Marxist ideology within seemingly simple comedy, subtly critiquing Western democratic ideals and societal structures.
