
On March 12 1956 Basque nationalist Jesús de Galíndez Suárez disappears from his New York apartment while linked to FBI and drafting a book on Trujillo. In 1988 graduate student Muriel Colber, for a dissertation, travels from Spain to Santo Domingo. CIA agent Robards blocks her, yet yields clues as she pursues truth behind Galíndez’s disappearance.
