Filipiñana (2026): Cast, Ratings, Box Office & Where to Watch

The film starts in a drought-ridden area of Metro Manila, where a service van meant for a country club nearly collides with a group of locals waiting for scarce water rations. At the heart of this story is Isabel, a 17-year-old who works as a “tee-girl” on the exclusive, well-watered golf course of the country club. Together with her fellow tee-girls, who are easily identified by their pastel-blue uniforms, she is responsible for placing golf balls on the tee for affluent golfers who prefer not to bend down. Alongside them are the pink-uniformed caddies, who diligently retrieve stray balls, even from the course’s retention pond. While the golfers enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned environment, the tee-girls endure cramped sleeping conditions with limited food rations amidst the sweltering heat.
