The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck 1988

Ken Manchester, Brant von Hoffman, and Barbara Manchester, Kathy Shower, are a wealthy American couple seeking thrills, and they join a jungle safari expedition into the remote wilds of Borneo. Their guide is Buck Malone, David Keith, a hard-drinking adventurer with a tarnished past, hired to lead a handful of tourists through untamed territory. What begins as an exotic holiday quickly spirals into danger when the group strays too deep into the interior.

The safari is ambushed by a hostile native tribe, and the outsiders are captured. Stripped of their weapons and dignity, the prisoners are dragged back to the tribal village, where the fate of each member is decided by the chief. Buck, recognized as a fighter, is set aside to be tested later. Ken, unfit for survival, is cruelly released into the jungle—not for freedom, but as prey for the tribesmen to hunt down. Barbara, however, is singled out by the chief as a prize.

Helpless and terrified, she is forced into the chief’s hut, where her fate is sealed. In a grim ceremony, the tribal women prepare Barbara for the chief by tearing away her clothes, rubbing her body with oils, and adorning her like a sacrificial bride. Later, to crush her spirit, the chief reveals Ken’s severed head, a final act of dominance before he violates her.

Meanwhile, Buck is released into the wilderness under the guise of freedom, but he uses his wits and toughness to survive. Returning to the village under cover, he overpowers guards and sneaks into the chief’s quarters. Finding Barbara traumatized but alive, Buck rescues her in a desperate gamble. Together, they flee into the jungle, pursued by tribesmen, relying on Buck’s cunning and rugged skills to fight their way back to civilization.

What began as a reckless holiday has become a fight for survival, exposing the raw savagery of the jungle—and testing both Buck and Barbara to their limits.
