A frustrated student and part-time worker, Rai, is unexpectedly transported from modern times to the Heian period after setting up a museum exhibition. Mistaken for a magical protector, he’s hired by Nyogo Kokiden, the emperor’s wife. She’s secretly plotting to place her son on the throne, and Rai finds himself caught in her schemes. Armed with a pamphlet and headache tablets, he navigates the historical setting, offering a light-hearted fantasy experience filled with beautiful kimono.
