The premise of The daughter of Moctezuma without spoilers.
La India María is tasked with finding the Magic Black Mirror of Tezcatlipoca, hidden deep within a mountain. The spirit of her ancestor, Moctezuma II, commands her to retrieve it, hoping to prevent the destruction of Mexico. A handsome Spanish archaeologist named Alonso, an antiquities dealer called Bianchi, and an ambitious governor, Brigida Troncoso, are also searching for the mirror and the legendary treasure of Moctezuma, leading to a desperate chase.
