Adapted from Leo Janáček’s 1925 opera “The Cunning Little Vixen”, which in turn is based on Rudolf Těsnohlídek’s novel “Líška Bystrouška”, the film follows Sharp‑Ears, a young fox captured as a cub by a forester, raised in his household, and ultimately escaping back into the forest.
