In the heart of Chinatown, NYPD Lieutenant Nick Chen, who heads the Asian Gang Unit, finds himself ensnared in a precarious labyrinth of corruption and betrayal. Tasked with maintaining order between the Tung Fung Benevolent Association and the Fukienese Dragons, Chen balances his commitment to justice with a covert loyalty to informants Uncle Benny Wong and Lieutenant Henry Lee. When a catastrophic explosion rocks Chinatown, Chen is forced into an uneasy alliance with Detective Danny Wallace, not realizing that Wallace is secretly assigned to Internal Affairs to keep tabs on him. Wallace’s agenda remains hidden from both Chen and the gang unit, as he misleadingly claims his involvement is purely to expedite his rise within the ranks.
