The Bridle On The Neck (1974): Cast

Set in Rome’s San Basilio district, the story follows seven‑year‑old Fabio—referred to in Italian as a “character”—who is placed in a special or differential classroom. The film examines how his family, neighbours, teachers, the school’s principal and psychologist respond, suggesting that the real issue is not the child’s re‑education but the pressure to enforce social conformity.
