The Boss: Anatomy of a Crime (2014): Cast & Box Office

The film explores the disturbing exploitation of Hermógenes, an apprentice butcher, and his subsequent trial after a daytime murder. A farmhand from northern Argentina, Hermógenes moves to Buenos Aires with his wife, hoping for a better life, but instead finds himself trapped under the control of a corrupt employer. Based on a real event investigated a decade prior, the film draws heavily from documented practices within the meat industry. It's a shocking exposé of unethical practices and a deeply personal story of desperation and loss, becoming a major success in Argentina.
