When the “Big Four” of thrash metal—Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax—took the stage together on 22 June 2010 at Sofia’s Sonisphere Festival, the concert was broadcast live via satellite to more than 550 cinemas worldwide in a special HD event. The release features the full sets of each band plus behind‑the‑scenes footage and interviews, documenting one of only seven European dates where the four legends shared a stage for the first time.
