Scarred by his wife’s infidelity, a man abandons her and his son to live in isolation high among Montenegro’s mountains. Years later, war erupts and rival forces must traverse the same peak; one group reluctantly coerces him to guide them through the snow. During the trek he discovers that a member of the opposing side is his long‑lost son.
