The Absent One 2014
In Denmark, 1994, the brutal murders of two young twins remain a haunting mystery. Years later, a former police officer seeks the help of Carl Mørck, head of Department Q, to reopen the case. Alongside his partner Assad, Carl delves into the initial investigation and the conviction of a local man. However, they uncover unsettling inconsistencies and suspect that the truth behind the killings is far more complex than it initially seemed, leading them down a dangerous path.
