A two‑part television film that adapts two stories from Oscar Wilde’s collection A House of Pomegranates – “The Star‑Child” (1891) and “The Birthday of the Infanta” (1888). Following the earlier 1958 movie The Star Boy, this version introduces science‑fiction elements and omits the original magical aspects, resulting in a markedly different plot.
