The missing bodies ignite a viral storm, turning the hospital into a whispered legend that haunts online feeds and feeds the curiosity of viewers far and wide.

Months later, a group of Filipino social media influencers and celebrities led by Quen, a popular actor trying to rebrand himself as a serious producer, arrives in Taiwan to film a paranormal reality show called Strange Frequencies. Their mission is ambitious: to break viewership records by spending a full night inside the haunted Xinglin General Hospital. The team includes Quen, his friends and fellow celebrities Jane De Leon, Alexa Miro, Mary Jean Lastimosa, Rob Gomez, spiritualist Raf Pineda, and veteran ghost vlogger Zarckaroo. Their defining goal is crystal clear: reach three million viewers in real time, no matter the cost.

At first, the mood is light and playful. They joke, flirt, and record TikTok-style segments at the hospital’s moss-covered entrance, blissfully unaware of what lies beyond the rusted doors. The crew sets up cameras in key locations—the maternity ward, the psychiatric wing, and the abandoned ICU. Strange noises and EMF spikes begin almost immediately. Raf draws tarot cards near the morgue and receives a spread that symbolically points to death, imprisonment, and sacrifice. The moment is funny enough to elicit nervous laughter, until the cards burst into flame on their own, and the room grows colder with the hint of something watching.

As the livestream goes live and viewers flood the comments with laughing emojis and “fake!” taunts, the night takes a darker turn. Zarckaroo ventures into the lower levels with MJ. While filming a solo sequence in a hallway, his camera captures something behind him—a figure in a white hospital gown, mouth split open as if unhinged, crawling on the ceiling like an insect. When MJ joins him minutes later, distant, distorted crying rises from behind a locked room. MJ opens it and screams. Inside are decaying baby dolls nailed to the walls, their mouths stuffed with real human hair. The door slams shut on her hand, slicing off the tip of her finger. Elsewhere, Jane and Rob enter the nursery wing, where the infamous Nurse Pei allegedly murdered infants by injecting formaldehyde into their skulls during a 1970s mental breakdown. When Jane leans over for what she hopes will be a cheap jump scare, she discovers a bundle of twitching meat—muscle and bone fused with tiny fingers and a mouth full of teeth. Back in the control room, Quen, Alexa, and Raf watch in growing panic as their team members disappear one by one. Alexa breaks down, blaming Quen for pushing the stunt too far. The ritual works briefly—until a voice begins speaking through the speakers in dozens of layered languages at once. Raf convulses, blood pouring from his nose and ears, and then he levitates, his spine snapping as he’s folded backward like a paper doll.

Alexa tries to flee, but the hallways warp and twist, moving faster than the lights can keep up. Her camera captures only a blur—a shadow in a nurse’s cap with dozens of arms. She hides in an oxygen closet, whispering prayers, until her breath fogs and a heavy hand wraps around her neck. She’s lifted off the floor, and the hospital falls silent.

Quen, now alone, wanders into a ritual chamber filled with bloodstained stretchers and jars of preserved fetuses with twitching eyes. He uncovers the truth: the hospital was closed not only for malpractice, but because it functioned as a front for a cult that worshipped an ancient demon of entropy and decay. The cult harvested souls through surgical mutilation, channeling pain into portals to the spirit world. He finds Jane alive but catatonic, blood on her clothes and her eyes milky and unseeing, and he carries her through a gauntlet of reanimated bodies—his friends twisted into grotesque hybrids. In a brutal moment, Jane is trapped in a room, and something malevolent closes in; Quen’s attempts to intervene arrive too late, and Jane dies.

Quen then encounters Alexa again as they race to escape. The demonic entity catches Alexa, but Quen makes a final, desperate stand by embracing the horror and drawing it toward the window. The fall proves fatal for Quen, and Alexa awakens to a morning light outside, the hospital eerily quiet as she finally escapes.
