Storm Fear 1955

After being wounded during a Christmas-time heist, bank robber Charlie Blake takes shelter in a remote farmhouse owned by his older brother, Fred Blake, who lives there with his wife Elizabeth and their 12-year-old son David. Fred is a frail, chronically ill man whose respiratory problems leave him short of breath and too easy to push around, and he is bullied into harboring the fugitives along with his dangerous guests, the brutal Benjie and the volatile Edna. The atmosphere in the farmhouse grows tense as fear, loyalty, and old resentments collide, turning a quiet home into a fragile refuge for criminals.

Charlie’s lingering affection for Elizabeth resurfaces, reminding everyone of a past affair that complicates loyalties.
