Stone Cold Fox 2025

Fox [Kiernan Shipka] is a young girl who grows up with her sister Spooky [Bluesy Burke]. Their father’s accident and their mother’s struggles with alcohol and drugs push Fox to leave home, setting her on a precarious street life. After a period of fending for herself, Fox crosses paths with a drug dealer named Goldie [Krysten Ritter] and becomes her partner, slipping into a world of danger and dependency.

One night at a bar, Fox thinks she spots Spooky dancing and shouts her name, but the moment spirals into a forced departure from the club. Meanwhile, Goldie keeps her operation under wraps by bribing a cop, Billy Breaker [Kiefer Sutherland], to overlook the drug trade. On patrol, Billy stops a car, shoots the driver, and steals the drugs, later leaning on Goldie to stash them away. The car trunk is found mostly empty, deepening the tension between law and crime.

Billy hands the stolen drugs to Goldie, who buries them in a safe place, while Fox, thinking she’s handling cash, takes the bag for herself and eventually hides it in a locker. When Goldie discovers Fox’s absence at their hideout, she calls in Billy, who launches a missing-person inquiry. Fox’s world starts to tilt as she tries to protect her secret, all the while the memory of Spooky’s fate gnaws at her conscience.

Fox’s search for Spooky takes a dark turn when she thinks she sees her sister being kidnapped in a van and is then knocked unconscious in a separate collide. She wakes up in the home of Lebanese immigrants Frankie [Mishel Prada] and Dylan [Adam Elshar], who reveal they know she’s trying to save Spooky and decide to help. Frankie shows Fox a weapon collection—Nunchaku and Shuriken—and the trio resolves to raid Goldie’s hideout to rescue Spooky.

Back at the police station, Officer Corbett [Jamie Chung] investigates the hit-and-run that ties back to the case of Fox and the missing girls. In a locked drawer at the station, she uncovers a file filled with information on several missing girls, including Fox. Billy realizes Corbett has the file, signaling a shift in the battle between the investigators and the criminals. Goldie ends things with Billy, cutting ties as her power over the situation wavers.

The rescue plan unfolds: Fox, Frankie, and Dylan sneak into Goldie’s hideout to liberate the girls. While Dylan distracts the guards, Fox and Frankie attempt to slip away with the rescued children. A tense confrontation erupts as Goldie fires a gun toward one of the captives, and Fox yells out “Spooky” in a desperate, charged moment. Goldie then reveals a brutal truth: on the day Fox left home, Spooky had fallen in the bathroom and hit her head, dying instantly—a memory Fox had repressed for years. The confession shifts the moral balance, and Fox overpowers Goldie, but Billy arrives, seizing the locker key from Fox. Corbett also arrives, arresting Billy and handing Fox the key to the locker, bringing some measure of closure to the brutal chapter.

Months pass, and the world begins to heal in a new way. A bar and roller-skating rink named Spooky’s opens, with Fox at the helm as its manager, turning the past into a place of memory and purpose.
