Spider Mites of Jesus: The Dirtwoman Documentary (2018): Cast

This is the story of a man whose early life was marked by a childhood illness his mother referred to as “Spider Mites of Jesus,” which led to lifelong challenges. Beginning at age 13, he faced difficult circumstances, eventually earning the nickname “Dirtwoman” after an arrest. He became a local figure, running for mayor and gaining notoriety for unusual events, including an appearance in a GWAR video and hosting a fundraiser called Hamaganza. His passing last year resulted in a front-page obituary in the Richmond Times-Dispatch and a national feature on NPR.
