What Is Soul of the Game About?
The premise of Soul of the Game without spoilers.
In 1945 baseball is split between the Major and Negro Leagues, and the Brooklyn Dodgers are set to sign the first black player. They need a star, not just talent, and they narrow to pitcher Satchel Paige, hitter Josh Gibson, and rookie Jackie Robinson—three athletes whose rivalry and friendship shape history, with only one stepping onto the field.
