Something Ventured (2011): Cast

Apple, Intel, Genentech, Atari, Google, Cisco—these stratospheric successes were backed by a handful of original venture capitalists who, through timing, foresight, a keen ability to read people and plenty of luck, spotted opportunities others missed. Before “venture capital” was even a term, they funded the companies that birthed biotechnology, microprocessors, personal computers and the web, and the film reveals the highs, lows and hidden dramas behind some of the twentieth century’s most iconic businesses.
