On Christmas Eve in Bristol, England, a weary Santa Claus (David Harbour) finds himself drowning his sorrows in a local pub. In a conversation with a mall Santa, he reveals his growing disillusionment with the holiday spirit, lamenting that people are more absorbed in materialism than authentic kindness and connection. Before he leaves, he surprises the bartender by leaving a thoughtful gift for his grandson, igniting curiosity about how Santa knew the child’s name. The bartender, unaware of Santa’s true identity, chases him to the rooftop where he witnesses Santa vanish into the starry night, his sleigh flying away with majestic reindeer.

Meanwhile, across the ocean in affluent Connecticut, Jason Lightstone (Alex Hassell) reunites with his estranged wife Linda (Alexis Louder) and their young daughter Trudy (Leah Brady). Amidst the grandeur of Jason’s family mansion, underlying tension simmers between the couple. Gertrude (Beverly D’Angelo), Jason’s commanding mother and CEO, exudes an air of superiority while his sister Alva (Edi Patterson) seeks their mother’s approval, believing Jason is the favored child. Adding to the chaos are Alva’s dim-witted boyfriend Morgan Steele (Cam Gigandet) and her obnoxious teenage son Bert (Alexander Elliot).

Things take a dark turn when a crew of mercenaries, operating under the guise of holiday staff, spring into action. Gingerbread (Andre Eriksen), a cunning operative, swiftly disables the head of security, clearing a path for Scrooge (John Leguizamo). The nefarious leader takes control of the lavish Lightstone estate, holding the family hostage. According to his sinister plan, Gertrude has hidden away a staggering $300 million intended for charitable distribution in the Middle East, securely stored within the mansion.

The festive atmosphere violently shatters when gunfire erupts. Santa, in the midst of his routines, quickly witnesses the rising chaos. An encounter with the violent henchman Tinsel ([Phong Giang]) leads to a brutal confrontation, an engagement that sees Santa fight valiantly despite being outmatched. The commotion sends Santa’s reindeer scattering, leaving him momentarily stranded.

In an escalating struggle, Santa ends up battling Tinsel from a rooftop to the ground below. Though Santa escapes unscathed, Tinsel meets a tragic end when he falls upon a sharp icicle. Recognizing his dwindling Christmas magic, Santa attempts to reach safety but finds the front gate operator lifeless. Trudy’s voice comes through a walkie-talkie, prompting Santa to remain and assist rather than escape.

Undeterred, Frosty ([Can Aydin]), another of Scrooge’s mercenaries, confronts Santa, leading to a fierce duel. Santa utilizes his enchanted gift bag brilliantly, fighting back even as he struggles to conjure traditional weapons. In a moment of creativity, Santa uses a Christmas tree star to electrify Frosty, defeating him in a spectacular fashion. Despite the overwhelming odds, Scrooge’s crew, desperate to reclaim control, continues their pursuit of the elusive Santa, taunting and tormenting the Lightstone family in the process.

In a heart-stopping moment, Candy Cane ([Mitra Suri]), one of Scrooge’s ruthless minions, inflicts pain on Jason as she toys with a nutcracker, causing distress just moments before they attempt to vie for Trudy.
