Jun, Kwon Sang-woo, a webtoon artist who also works at a construction site, is crushed by negative comments claiming his comics aren’t fun and entertaining. In a drunken night, Jun sketches a webtoon about a secret agent, and it explodes into a huge hit, bringing a moment of happiness to his family who finally escapes obscurity. But this triumph hides a sharper truth: the webtoon is actually based on Jun’s life as a secret agent.

Past: Jun, an orphan with exceptional fighting and drawing skills, is approached to become an NIS agent. Lee Yi-kyung plays Cheol, Jun’s former colleague who later appears in the story. Jun accepts and becomes an NIS agent with the title of Elite Assassin. Yet his true passion remains webtoons, and he sketches in his spare moments even while on duty. To reach his dream of becoming a published artist, he fakes his death by jumping from a helicopter on a stormy night and disguises himself.

Present: When Jun becomes aware of his family’s plight, he publishes the webtoon’s next episode. The NIS soon realizes that the episode is based on a previous top-secret operation and concludes that he is alive. Chief Cheon joins the effort, and Cheol accompanies them as they uncover that Jason, Jo Woon, wants to take revenge for his brother’s death. The NIS captures his daughter, but Cheol escapes with her and heads toward Jun’s location. Cheol and Chief Cheon team up with Jun and track Jason to his hideout, where they defeat Jason and his henchmen. With the threat resolved, Jun is cleared of suspicion and returns to a peaceful life with his family, then begins writing the third episode of the webtoon.
