What Is Sex, Drugs & Taxation About?
The premise of Sex, Drugs & Taxation without spoilers.
This film explores the unlikely friendship between radical libertarian Simon Spies and hedonist capitalist Mogens Glistrup, two outsiders who rose to prominence during the hippie era in Scandinavia. Their bond, forged in defiance of a conformist society, led them through periods of great admiration and success, but also faced periods of public condemnation and imprisonment. The story is a humorous and warm-hearted look at their decades-long journey, touching on themes of taxation, travel, politics, and unconventional lifestyles.
