Parallel to the domestic drama, the sons of the amputee factionist Veera Raghava Reddy begin hunting for Abbulu. In a chance encounter, Abbulu manages to have them arrested with the help of Kotilingam, all without showing his face. Veera Raghava Reddy, furious at his son’s incompetence, calls in his London-born daughter Anjali, who vows vengeance on Abbulu. One day, Bandabbai’s goons tease Sangeeta at the hotel, and Abbulu retaliates by beating them and humbling their gang. Bandabbai schemes to force a marriage between Sangeeta and his brother by bribing Kantamma, while Abbulu continues to protect Saraswati and Sangeeta, and then reveals to his sisters that he is Vasu. In a startling turn, Anjali arrives and brands him the killer of Vasu, reborn as Samarasimha Reddy, shattering trust within the family and provoking Anjali’s men to rough him up. Chittamma shelters Abbulu, and he sits down with his sisters to tell the full story of his past. A heated dispute over Vasu’s obsequies escalates, but Anjali uses the moment to her advantage and convinces the family to accept Samarasimha Reddy. Then, Anjali’s machinations lead to Samarasimha Reddy drinking poison and collapsing, only for Bandabbai’s gang to attack as he lies incapacitated. He revives and thrashes them, and the SP moves him to a hospital, underscoring the growing legend of his prowess.

What follows is the backstory of Samarasimha Reddy, the roaring lion of Rayalaseema, the son of the powerful factionist Narasimha Reddy. After leaving home, he raises Vasu as a younger brother, and Vasu grows into a steadfast companion. Veera Raghava Reddy intensifies the feud, and Samarasimha Reddy’s alliance with his cousin Deepika is tested as the family shop and social order are reshaped. Veera Raghava Reddy’s faction murders parts of their circle in brutal backstabbing, and Samarasimha Reddy’s counterattack leaves him victorious but at a terrible cost: Vaasu dies in the clash, a moment that binds the pair forever in memory and duty. Before his final breath, Vaasu asks Samarasimha Reddy to protect his sisters with the hard-won earnings of his labor and sacrifice.

Anjali, moved by the revelations and guided by Chittamma, begins to see the value in sealing an alliance with Samarasimha Reddy. Though Veera Raghava Reddy’s fury flares and his sons push for further bloodshed, the broader community witnesses the transformation and strength of the hero’s righteousness. The wedding proceeds as a step toward peace, and while Veera Raghava Reddy attempts one last move to derail Anjali and brand her as the enemy, she stands firm. The narrative builds toward a sweeping reform of the region, and in the end Veera Raghava Reddy can no longer tolerate the new order, choosing to end his life rather than live with the changing balance.
