Raja Harishchandra Prasad is the son of a diligent vegetable vendor named Prakash, and his father’s unwavering honesty often lands him in heartbreak as he ends relationships. He crosses paths with Priya, and their connection grows into a genuine romance. At the same time, the city is gripped by a spate of minister kidnappings, and the longtime troubleshooter Commissioner Dileep Kumar has an able officer under him, Md. Nayeem Basha, who is sharp-minded but rarely recognized for his talent. When Raja discovers that Priya is the daughter of Dileep and that she is poised to marry Govindaraju’s son, Mukundam, the stakes get personal and tense.
Raja confers with Dileep, and the latter reveals a plan to secure Priya’s marriage to Mukundam, manipulating events to force a kidnapping of a prominent figure. Instead, Raja impulsively abducts Priya, only to learn from her that she never truly loved him and had pretended to pursue studies in the US to chase her own dreams. Heartbroken but resolute, Raja settles Priya at a friend’s place, while Dileep scrambles to locate her. Priya’s feelings for Raja gradually soften, and the two begin a complicated dynamic: Raja contact Dileep and asks for a ransom of 3 Crore, a demand that unsettles everyone as the real perpetrator’s identity starts to surface. After sifting through Priya’s case files and other kidnappings, Md. Nayeem Basha uncovers that the kidnapper is Raja and informs Dileep that he has been duped.
Priya learns of the ransom and her father arrives to arrest Raja, ending the immediate danger. Yet trouble compounds when Mukundam is abducted, and a new demand of 15 Crore is issued. As Dileep heads toward the police station, Raja has vanished. The revelations about past loyalties come into focus when Priya learns from her mother that Raja’s father Prakash and her father Dileep were close friends, and Prakash had once treated Karim, a sincere cop, as family. Prakash ultimately discovers that Govindaraju masterminded the kidnappings and moves to arrest him, but Dileep discloses that the entire scheme was his own plan. Govindaraju retaliates by killing Karim, and a furious Prakash shoots Govindaraju, the shot striking his throat and leaving him incapacitated; Prakash is then framed for the kidnapping and sent to prison.
Amid the chaos, Dileep discovers that Nayeem and Raja have been conspiring together. Nayeem takes a staggering sum—500 Crore Rupees—from Govindaraju’s house and donates it to an orphanage, while Dileep is eventually arrested as Govindaraju dies from the gunshot wound. In the end, Priya and Raja find peace and reconciliation, their bond tempered by the ordeals they endured together.
